Tonight actually made the perfect night to do a tribute to John Lennon & the Beatles including requesting their tunes from much earlier on thanks to people like Bruce Slutsky & Marion G. Then I suggest we do an entire 5th hour theme tonight with all songs by the Beatles while they were together & John Lennon from his solo career to honor John’s legacy, memory, & birthday. This was something I actually had in mind to do & suggest for what would’ve been last week’s show had we done a live show Friday night last week. In addition to it honoring the fact that my family & I once again met up with Ken Dashow (The weekday afternoon host on the local NYC Classic Rock station Q1043) this past Sunday at the Cutting Room in the city for the live showing of his & the station’s weekly Sunday morning Breakfast With The Beatles program. While the last one that Ken had hosted with the station there back from this past April was slightly better, at least in my opinion as well as my dad’s, we still nonetheless were glad to be there for the most recent one from this past Sunday & enjoy it.
